“Every Family Has a Story”

“I was deeply affected by the Jivatma Valettas,” director Will Inrig states at the beginning of the film, “I have grown up with their children and mentored to both George and Gila. Their home is a place where we are rid of our formalities and immersed in culture and vitality, their spirit and soul has left an impression on me which I will take with me for the rest of my life.”

In July of 2006 student filmmaker Will Inrig set out to capture the essence of a special family dear to his heart so that their memory could be preserved beyond time. His mission was to collect a series of specific events which were regular to the household, and to exhibit them in a fashion that would allow the viewer to relate these to their own childhood experiences.

“An exhibit of this nature must be done”, Will Inrig explains, “it is essential”.

What results is an emotional masterwork, infused with the passion of adolescence and the enthusiasm of recollection.

Ottawa based production company Vibe Pictures will be releasing the film come this July.
